Jazz and flamenco have been mingling genres for decades, driven by a shared pursuit of unique and distinctive musical expression. They thrive on powerful rhythms, instrumental virtuosity, deeply personal vocalization, and a passion for improvisation.

The band Sentido project delves into a contemporary hybrid genre, blending musical design with jazz and pop influences, while exploring the intersections between music and flamenco dance. Here, the body in motion becomes an instrument, leading with percussive rhythms and fostering a dynamic dialogue between movement and music.

Featuring Urška Centa on dance, vocals, and hand claps, Primož Fleischman on saxophone, Arsenije Krstić on piano, Tadej Kampl on electric bass, and Nino Mureškić on percussion, Sentido project crafts original content inspired by flamenco, transforming it through fusion with other artistic styles.

Established in 2019 in Slovenia, Sentido project has graced numerous stages at home and abroad, captivating audiences with their innovative approach to music and dance. In 2024, the Sentido project released their debut album ECOS (Celinka.si label) and successfully completed two tours of Mexico in collaboration with local cultural authorities and co-produced by the NEST Institute. During the tour, they performed at several venues across the country, including the prestigious Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicos in Guadalajara, Teatro Esperanza Iris in CDMX, Teatro de la Ciudad in Cancún, Teatro María Grever in León, Teatro de la Ciudad in Celaya, Museo de la Ciudad in Querétaro, etc. For their achievements, they were awarded a recognition by the city government of Celaya and the Instituto de Arte y Cultura de Celaya and the city government of Zacatecas.
